A warm and characterful kitchen extension in Knowle, Bristol.

The kitchen and extension of our Founder, this space was designed to be a hard working and beautiful hub for family life. The existing kitchen layout was reworked to include a compact but open kitchen and dining area and family lounge area. A small but impactful extension was added which included a utility space and cloakroom. We wanted to enhance the views out to the garden and maximise the warm south facing light so incorporated plenty of glazing elements including a large skylight and French crittal doors in a bespoke warm white finish. The design references hard working traditional farmhouse kitchens but with a bold contemporary feel. The material palette combines warm earthy tones and natural materials to create a cosy, welcoming atmosphere.
